2. Choose Building Plan
There are some many plans and designs to choose so it's best to decide what style of home you are looking for. If you have a growing family and will need extra space, or if you have small children and prefer to be all on one level. Choosing a style of home that suits your needs will start you on the right path to designing your home. Once you have decided on your style, all of the details for design can be chosen.
3. Personalize your Plan
FH Construction has many designs to choose from as well we can design a home that perfectly suits your needs. You can bring your ideas and plans for us to customize your new home to you. We will sit with you to ensure that your new home fits your lifestyle inside and out.
4. Documents and Agreement
The Purchase Agreement will be reviewed with you and will outline all the details of the construction process, timelines and costs and warranties. We want you to understand what you can expect from your new home build. All of the necessary documents required for the home build will be taken care of ensuring that the build is on schedule . Communication is key in the building process and we understand that for many it is a first time build. Keeping you informed will make the process a smooth and stress free one.
5. Construction
You want your new home to wow people when they arrive. Choosing the exterior elements to your home are important, and you want to your home to have style and curb appeal. As well the interior of your home should give entering guests a warm and inviting feeling. Once the framework for your home is built and walk-through ready; you can begin by choosing your fixtures and colours. We work with great suppliers that have top quality products to choose from. You can visit their showrooms to select these products and talk to their representatives.
6. Final Inspection
Your satisfaction with the home is our main goal. We will walk you through the home to explain any features that you will need to know. It is your opportunity to make sure that the home is complete and that any changes have been made to your satisfaction. As well, any deficiencies that are not to your standards will be outlined and fixed prior to your move in date.
7. Move In
Your brand new home awaits, all you have left to do is move in! We believe that customer satisfaction is the highest compliment we can receive as home builders. 8. Home Warranty
The protection of a New Home Warranty we believe will give you the peace of mind knowing that your investment is protected. Your warranty is a 7 year Atlantic New Home Warranty. This will include full coverage for the first year and the final 6 years on any major structural areas.
